Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Technician 1 (SWC - Operations) to install, troubleshoot and maintain electronic communication systems in a fast-paced environment. You will handle VOIP, SIP, networking and related equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and high performance.

Travel may be required for project work, with emphasis on safety and accurate record-keeping. You will respond to service issues promptly, document readings, train customers, and manage on-call duties as part of a capable onsite

Qualifications

• Minimum a two-year electronics degree or equivalent with 1+ years related field experience.
• Experience with VoIP, telephony, data networks, wireless data, CCTV or nurse call apps preferred.
• Ability to install from engineering documents with minimal assistance.

Responsibilities

• Final hookup and programming of electronics equipment for new jobs.
• Respond promptly to customer service-related issues.
• Test and document readings for customer systems.
• On-call duties on a regular schedule.
• Train customers on proper use of equipment.
