Southern Star is hiring a field technician in Ozona, TX to install and service DISH TV, Starlink, and home entertainment products. The role requires travel up to 20% with lodging covered, and paid training.

Starting pay begins at $20.00 per hour during training, rising to $25.00 per hour after training for the first 9 months. First-year earnings typically $50k–$60k; experienced technicians $60k–$85k+ with bonuses and benefits.

Job description

Training/Base pay rate of $20.00 per hour. The Base rate increases by .50 upon completion of training.

We have a Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $25.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months. This allows time to build your bonus and commission skills.

If your post-training base rate, plus bonuses and commission don’t bring you to the Guaranteed Hourly Rate, we will increase your pay. However, the earning potential is much higher!

Schedule:

This position requires working 5 days a week, which includes working on holidays. Your designated days off each week will be Sunday and Monday.

Bonus Opportunity:

Earn a Trained and Active Bonus of $1000.00, half of which you receive at approximately 60 days and the other at approximately 6 months.

• Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge and the ability to scale ladders up to 38 ft and navigate crawl spaces.
