Job summary

Southern Star is seeking a field technician to install DISH systems and provide excellent customer service. You will travel to customer sites, perform installations, and upsell additional products and services. A clear background check and MVR are required, with training provided.

Base pay starts at $17.00 per hour with a $0.50 increase after 60 days. A guaranteed $20.00 per hour rate applies after training for up to 9 months, with potential for higher earnings through bonuses and commissions.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge; ability to scale ladders up to 38 ft and navigate crawl spaces.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time (lodging and per diem covered).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Sales-oriented; upsell products and services during DISH installations.
• Must have a clear Background, Drug Screen and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Job description

Training/Base pay rate of $17.00 per hour. The Base rate increases .50 upon completion of 60 days of employment.

We have a Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $20.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months. This allows time to build your bonus and commission skills.

If your post-training base rate, plus bonuses and commission don’t bring you to the Guaranteed Hourly Rate, we will increase your pay. However, the earning potential is much higher!

Schedule: This position requires working 5 days a week, which includes working on holidays. Your designated days off each week will be Sunday and Monday.

Bonus Opportunity: Earn a Trained and Active Bonus of $500.00, half of which you receive at approximately 60 days and the other at approximately 6 months.
