Job summary

Southern Star is hiring technicians to install DISH systems and deliver exceptional home entertainment experiences. The role starts at a base pay of $17.00 per hour with a $500 bonus opportunity, paid across ~60 days and ~6 months.

First-year earnings are projected to be $50,000–$60,000, with experienced technicians earning $60,000–$85,000+ annually. Paid training, 401K, PTO, life insurance, a company vehicle after training, and other benefits are included.

Job description

Training/Base pay rate of $17.00 per hour. The Base rate increases .50 upon completion of 60 days of employment.

Schedule

This position requires working 5 days a week, which includes working on holidays. Your designated days off each week will be Sunday and Monday.

Bonus Opportunity

Earn a Trained and Active Bonus of $500.00, half of which you receive at approximately 60 days and the other at approximately 6 months.

Role Requirements

• Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge and the ability to scale ladders up to 38 ft and navigate crawl spaces.
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time (lodging and per diem covered by SSI).
• Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Sales: Successfully upsell products and services to customers while installing DISH systems.
• Must have a clear Background, Drug Screen and Motor Vehicle Record
