Job summary

Flock is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to install and maintain our field hardware, including cameras and solar panels, across outdoor sites in the Phoenix area. You will perform site surveys, coordinate with partners, and ensure safety standards while working with a dynamic multi-product platform.

The role requires travel up to 25% and lifting up to 50 lbs. Overtime and stock options are offered as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

Experience with low-voltage wiring and electrical assemblies.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive service vehicles.
Comfort using mobile apps to log service records and track work.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.

Responsibilities

Install, align, and service cameras, solar panels, batteries, and mounting poles.
Conduct site surveys with public safety partners and property owners for permits.
Prepare sites with post-holes, mounting hardware, and camera alignment.
Diagnose and repair field hardware and minor underground wiring issues.
Document installations, inventory, and service records via mobile app.
Operate ladders and lifts up to 30 feet during field work.
Drive field vehicles and tow trailers safely following safety protocols.
