Job summary

Palmetto Clean Technology seeks a Solar Field Service Technician to support service, installation, and post-install operations for residential solar systems in the Phoenix area. You will work with our Services team to ensure fast resolutions and long-term customer satisfaction, maintaining strong relationships through the full lifecycle of a customer’s solar system.

The role requires hands-on installation and troubleshooting, with mobility across site surveys, safety checks, and closeout

Qualifications

• 3+ years installing, repairing, and troubleshooting residential solar & storage systems.
• Able to climb ladders, roofs and work on uneven surfaces.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.
• Must have a valid state driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite troubleshooting and repair of solar systems.
• Document visit and complete job close out report.
• Schedule site visits with customers as needed.
• Collaborate with field teams to optimize resolution times.
• Support pre-energization activities and ensure smooth project start.
