Job summary

Flock is seeking an on-site field technician to install, align, and service solar panels, cameras, and related infrastructure in outdoor environments. You will work across rooftops and field sites, performing site surveys and wiring tasks while ensuring safety standards.

The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and driving service vehicles. Travel is up to 50% with a dynamic schedule, and stock options are provided as part of compensation.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in low-voltage wiring, electrical assembly, construction, or technical field service environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute physical hardware installations and maintenance across camera systems, solar panels, batteries, and mounting poles.
• Conduct site surveys with public safety partners and property owners to verify traffic control plans and permit compliance.
• Perform site preparation including post-hole digging, mounting hardware, and aligning LPR and PTZ cameras.
• Diagnose and repair field hardware, software connections, and minor underground wiring or irrigation disruptions.
• Document installations, inventory logs, and service records via the mobile field application and manage local equipment shipments.
