Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a General Laborer to support sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation tasks on water infrastructure projects. You will perform field work, operate pipe bursting equipment, and work under supervision with routine decisions.

Candidates must be able to work outdoors year-round, lift up to 50 lbs, and be willing to travel up to 100% with daily per diem of $60. A high school diploma and pre-employment screenings are preferred/required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in physical labor or outdoor construction preferred.
• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.
• Willing to travel up to 100% and work overtime.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and D.O.T. physical; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• General laborer who supports sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation pipeline tasks.
• Makes routine decisions and takes direction from supervision.
• Able to work outside year-round.
• Operate and maintain pipe bursting equipment.
• Lift, push/pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
