Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC in Houston, Texas seeks a Technician to support sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation projects. You will operate and maintain pipe bursting equipment, lift and move up to 50 lbs, and work in outdoor conditions year-round in a fast-paced team.

Prerequisites include a high school diploma (preferred), willingness to travel up to 100% with daily per diem of $60, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working in a physical labor position and/or outdoor construction preferred.
• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• General laborer who supports sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation tasks.
• Makes routine decisions and takes direction from supervision.
• Able to work outside year-round.
• Operate and maintain pipe bursting equipment.
• Lift, push/pull, carry 50 lbs.
