Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician D to provide front-line field service and technical support for customer radio and communications systems across assigned service areas in Carrollton, TX. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, customer communication, and scheduling management, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Preferred candidates hold CCNA/CCNE or equivalent networking experience and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, plus a High School Diploma (or AA degree)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years prior experience, or 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 4 years prior experience.
• CCNA/CCNE or equivalent networking experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics. Classic Windows networking setup helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line field service and technical support for customer radio and communications systems across assigned service areas.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment, system, and network-related issues using established procedures and sound judgment.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to explain issues, provide status updates, and coordinate service activities
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional, responsive support
• Prepare accurate service reports, documentation, and related records in a timely manner
• Travel regionally as needed, primarily by vehicle, to support customer sites
