Job summary

On-Site Health & Safety seeks a Health & Safety Incident Response Technician (Field Technician) in Reno, NV. This role suits EMT/AEMT/Paramedic or LVN/LPN professionals seeking a non-clinical, field-based career with a company vehicle to bring home.

You will respond to incidents, conduct health screenings, provide first aid, and file incident reports while upholding safety standards across projects, including possible overnight/on-call shifts. Competitive schedule and benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic or equivalent required or preferred.
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse required.
  • In-house training: Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, CNA.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure health and safety compliance at worksites.
  • Provide first aid and incident reports.
  • Perform health screenings and blood draws when certified.

Are You Ready to Join Our Team?

We're seeking dedicated professionals with education or experience in:

  • EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Or with additional in-house training: Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Must be insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy (minimum 3 years driving history or documented defensive driving training; no severe driving record "hits")
  • Pass a criminal background check (as permitted by law)
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with drug testing policy requirements.
Additional Notes:
  • Field Technicians must be excellent communicators, comfortable with public speaking, and able to articulate instructions clearly.
  • You should be comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs for extended periods.
  • Willingness to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances is essential.

The insurance company and internal safety department review MVR records to determine if an applicant will be extended fleet driving privileges based on several risk factors, including previous negative “hits” on an MVR check, such as excessive moving violations, DUIs, reckless driving, etc. The search also considers a driver’s driving age/history.**
