Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a wastewater field technician to operate, service, and repair pumps, motors, valves, and other wastewater assets on outdoor sites across Middle Tennessee. You will troubleshoot malfunctions, perform 811 locates, inspect tanks, and monitor meters to keep systems in balance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, and a customer‑oriented communication style. Safety training and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude helpful for maintaining pumps, motors, valves and related assets.
• Familiarity with wastewater processes and safety regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, service, and repair pumps, motors, valves, and other wastewater assets.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and fix leaks or failures promptly.
• Complete Tennessee 811-compliant line locates.
• Inspect tanks and perform scheduled visits to treatment sites.
• Monitor meters and gauges to maintain proper system balance.
• Document maintenance and repair actions accurately.
