Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Field Technician to install and repair services and educate customers on usage. This entry-level role includes training and a clear path for progression, with pay starting at $20.50/hour and opportunities to advance through the self-progression plan.

Employees work outdoors, use hand tools, and travel to customer sites. Growth includes higher progression levels and potential certifications while supporting Spectrum’s connected services nationwide.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Schedule: Ability to travel to and from assigned locations as necessary.
• Language: Fluent in English.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in using computers and software applications; competent in using hand tools.
• Abilities: Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability.
• Valid Driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Physical: Able to walk varied terrains, lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Spectrum services at customer premises.
• Educate customers on service usage and best practices.
• Travel to and from customer locations as necessary and maintain professionalism.
