A H&E Field Mechanic travels to customer job sites for the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on different forms of aerial and earthmoving heavy equipment. Field Mechanic Responsibilities

Travel to customer job sites for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, including engines, transmissions, and other components.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems.
Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
Implement preventive maintenance procedures.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant driving experience.
Strong repair skills; factory, vocational, or mechanical training is a plus.
Experience with heavy equipment like excavators, forklifts, and compactors.
