Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC is seeking experienced Field Mechanics to support operations in Raleigh and surrounding areas. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing fleet vehicles, trucks, trailers, and heavy construction equipment in the field.

Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, servicing at job sites, inspecting equipment for safety concerns, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating with fleet operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Field Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or similar role.
• Experience with diesel engines, trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently.
• Valid driver's license.
• CDL and/or relevant mechanical certifications are a plus.
• Ability to travel throughout the Raleigh area and surrounding North Carolina locations as needed.

We are continuously seeking experienced Field Mechanics to support our operations in Raleigh and the surrounding North Carolina area. This evergreen posting is intended to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future Field Mechanic opportunities as business needs arise.

Field Mechanics are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing company vehicles, trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and construction equipment in the field.
