A leading environmental consulting firm in Tacoma is seeking a CMT Field Technician 1 to provide accurate materials testing and documentation for infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic environment and engage in fieldwork, conducting various tests on construction materials and documenting the results. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $24 to $32, with a focus on health, wellness, and personal development.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and navigate uneven construction sites.
• Ability to obtain WAQTC and ACI Certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately write and submit test reports daily.
• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.
• Perform a variety of job site tests and record test data.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of materials testing and construction practices
