CMT Technical Services in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Construction Materials Field Technician to support projects across the Denver area. This hands-on role focuses on field testing and ensuring materials meet project specifications and quality standards.

You will perform routine tests like slump, density, sampling, document results, and communicate with contractors and project teams. The position is full-time, outdoor work, with a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years of construction materials testing experience in the field.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine field testing of construction materials to verify compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Conduct field tests on materials including fresh concrete (slump, air, temperature, cylinders), soil compaction, density testing, and aggregate sampling.
• Accurately document test results and complete daily reports and datasheets.
• Communicate professionally with contractors, project managers, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Maintain and safely operate testing equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Support additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor based on project needs.
