Job summary

Midco in Minnesota is seeking a Field Tech to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for commercial and residential customers in Aitkin, Cromwell, or Palisade. You'll work with voice, video, and data installations, plus service changes, to ensure top performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A DUI conviction within the past five years will disqualify employment.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire and apply its principles.

Responsibilities

• Install voice, video, and data services at customer sites (homes or businesses).
• Troubleshoot and repair services from tap to CPE, ensuring optimal signal levels and picture quality.
• Promote Midco services and educate customers on use, including additional services and programs.
• Log all required information on work orders and referrals; maintain accurate records for customer interactions.
• Travel to customer locations as needed; perform on-call duties and adhere to safety guidelines.
