Job summary

Visual Inspection Systems LLC is seeking an experienced or entry-level Field Technician for the Middletown, OH area. The role focuses on preventative maintenance in industrial environments, including vibration data collection and infrared inspections to identify potential failures before they occur.

The ideal candidate will have industrial experience, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years similar experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, with reliable and punctual attendance.
• Experience in manufacturing, steel processing, machining, electric motors, or bearings is a plus.
• Vibration (CAT I or higher) is a plus.
• Infrared certification (Level I), Ultrasound, Alignment, or NDT certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections on electrical and mechanical equipment through infrared thermography and vibration analysis.
• Document findings clearly and accurately using Microsoft Office and inspection reporting tools.
• Work independently and follow established safety procedures.
