Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Field Technician III in the Atlanta area. The role involves diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and perform routine maintenance on construction equipment and rental assets.

The position requires at least four years of diesel mechanic experience, own tools, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience as diesel mechanic with a construction equipment or rental background.
• Proficient troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, as well as drive trains.
• Must have the necessary tools you need to do the job; averaging $10,000+ in value.
• Having mechanic experience working on industrial pumps, power equipment, and HVAC is a plus.
• Having a TWIC or Safety Council OSHA Basic Plus certification is preferred, will need to obtain if not held.
• Basic computer knowledge for service work orders, parts ordering, and service related tasks.
• Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records.

Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00PM (Overtime Eligible)

Required Skills & Experience
