Job summary

A leading equipment rental company in Marietta, GA is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to provide repairs on heavy equipment in the field. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 7 years of experience and strong skills in troubleshooting and diagnostics. Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday7AM - 4PM with the occasional rotating on-call Saturday (Overtime Eligible)

Pay Range: $33 - $35+/hr Dependent upon Experience + Quarterly Branch Performance Bonus

Location: This position will be field-based in a territory within our branch in Marietta, GA.

• A minimum of 3 to 7 years’ experience as diesel mechanic, with a construction, heavy equipment, or equipment rental background.
• 2 years of prior experience as a Field Technician preferred.
• Must have the required tools you need to perform repairs in this line of work.
• Experience with diesel and gas engines as well as drive trains is required, Tier 4 engine and SCR & DPF aftertreatment systems preferred.
• Experience performing routine preventative maintenance, major, and minor repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems is required.
• You will have strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills; experience with electrical, hydraulic, fuel systems, ignition, and drivetrain.
• A DOT medical card is required – don’t have one? Don’t worry! We can help you get yours.
• Clean driving record, you will be driving a field service truck; maintaining a safe driving record is the highest priority to maintain our safety culture.
• Solving problems and troubleshooting go hand-in-hand in this role.
• Must be open to covering a territory in and around Marietta, you will be based in a field territory repairing our fleet of equipment on customer job sites.
