Job summary

Nexus Water Group seeks a Field Tech II in Longwood, FL to maintain and repair water systems and meters. The role requires daily field work, driving a company vehicle, and on-call rotations to respond to emergencies.

The position involves traveling across service areas near Longwood, performing meter reading, maintenance, and customer communications while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year water meter reading experience preferred and related maintenance knowledge.
• Knowledge of cross-connection regulations and safe work practices is helpful.
• Familiar with reading variety of water meters and using basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and installation of water and sewer lines and meters.
• Maintain and test water meters; install new meters.
• Document field activities and customer interactions in the system and reports.
