Rain for Rent in Riverside, Alabama is seeking a Field Technician II who will lay out, assemble and maintain pipe, pumps and related equipment for agricultural or industrial job sites, while positively representing the company to customers.

Duties include reading work orders, selecting materials, loading and unloading, inspecting safety of equipment, assembling components, testing installed systems, and demonstrating equipment on site.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or instructions to determine tasks and material needs.
• Select pipe sizes and materials according to specifications.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment safely.
• Inspect equipment, vehicles and tools for safety before travel to sites.
• Track and maintain tools and supplies and report damaged items.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings and related equipment.
• Inspect and test installed systems and pipe lines.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers after install/testing.
• Follow safety regulations and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote cooperation with branch and corporate staff.
