Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Field Technician II to lay out, assemble, and maintain pipe, pumps, and related equipment at agricultural or industrial sites. You will represent the company, ensure customer satisfaction, and support safety and quality on every job.

The role involves reading work orders, selecting materials, loading/unloading gear, performing on-site tests, and demonstrating equipment to customers during installation and testing. Travel and flexible hours are part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or instructions to determine tasks and material needs.
• Select appropriate pipe sizes, types, and materials per specs.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment safely.
• Inspect equipment and vehicles for safety before travel to sites.
• Track and report damaged or missing tools to Supervisor.
• Complete Job Site Analyses for customer sites.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and equipment per specs.
• Inspect and test installed systems and pipes using gauges or tests.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers after install and testing.
• Maintain pipe systems and related equipment per specifications.
• Follow QSE regulations and ensure customer satisfaction before leaving site.
• Promote cooperation with Branch and Corporate teams and participate in Safety Culture.
