Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Field Technician II to lay out, assemble, and maintain pipe, pumps, and related equipment at agricultural or industrial work sites. The role includes on-site work, safety compliance, and customer interaction to ensure satisfactory service.

You will read work orders, select materials, load and secure equipment, inspect systems, and demonstrate equipment on install and test. This position supports field operations across locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment with appropriate tools and machinery.
• Inspect equipment, vehicles, and tools for safety and functionality prior to travel to customer sites.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment according to project specifications.
• Inspect, test, and adjust installed systems and pipe lines using gauges and testing methods.
