Job summary

Gravity is seeking a Field Technician 2 to deliver and set up rental equipment at customer locations in Odessa, TX. The role includes preventative maintenance and field service performed safely and efficiently.

You will diagnose field equipment, perform minor repairs, operate company vehicles with trailers, and complete monthly safety trainings while adhering to safety policies. On-call responsibilities and other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers, sets up, swaps, fuels, and performs minor repairs on diesel- and natural gas-powered equipment on customer locations.
• Operates company vehicles pulling trailers and equipment in accordance with policy and safety procedures.
• Completes starting and charging repairs on ICE (internal combustible engine) powered equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance and service on equipment.
• Performs diagnosis on field equipment to evaluate the need for further field repair or swap out.
• Uses all electrical tools, safety devices, and equipment in accordance with policy and safety procedures.
• Completes all required monthly safety and equipment-related trainings.
• Answers Company-issued cell phone during on call hours, in accordance with Company and safety policies.
• Any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.
