Job summary

Gravity Power & Rental in Williston, ND seeks a Field Technician 1 to deliver and set up rental equipment at customer locations, and perform preventative maintenance and service in the field.

The role requires basic mechanical knowledge, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and the ability to read, write, and speak English. On-site work with occasional long-distance driving is expected.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent, some college preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to maintain insurability with Company insurance.
• Requires basic mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Must be able to drive long distances/periods in Company vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to the extent verbal and written instructions in English are understood.

Responsibilities

• Delivers, sets up, swaps, and fuels equipment on customer locations.
• Operates Company vehicles pulling trailers and equipment in accordance with policy and safety procedures.
• Performs starting and charging repairs on ICE powered equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance and service on equipment.
• Follows safety procedures and completes required trainings.
• Responds to on-call duties and communicates via company cell phone.
