Job summary

SCS Engineers in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Field Technician II to operate, maintain, and monitor gas collection systems. Under supervision, you will balance wells, run blower/flare operations, manage condensate systems, and perform surface emissions monitoring.

You will document field observations, calibrate instruments, collect data, and assist with investigations and client communications. A valid driver’s license and physical capability are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of environmental control system OM&M experience is required.
• Working knowledge in the use of various computer/technology skills including Smartphones, Tablets, and Microsoft Office Programs (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing is required.
• Must meet physical requirements and pass a human performance evaluation (HPE).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain gas collection system to keep systems compliant with operating parameters.
• Perform routine wellfield balancing and maintenance.
• Carry out routine blower and flare operations and condensate management tasks.
• Conduct surface emissions monitoring and document results.
• Prepare field notes and daily logs; communicate observations to supervisor.
• Calibrate and use field instruments to collect data and support data reviews.
