Job summary

EnergySolutions in Oak Ridge, TN seeks an Incinerator Technician to operate specialized incineration and processing systems in strict accordance with procedures. You will handle materials, inspect containers, and maintain comprehensive logs and safety records.

The role requires training in CSE, LOTO, respirator use and PIT operation, plus ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme conditions. A HS diploma or GED and mechanical training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates incineration and processing operations per procedures.
• Receives, unloads, identifies, weighs and processes materials.
• Maintains logs, manifests and reports for materials and shipments.
• Performs routine and preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Operates in confined spaces when required and uses PPE per regulations.
• Conducts safety rounds and inspections to ensure system performance.
