Qualifications

  • 2+ years of general construction experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

As a Field Technician II, you are responsible for providing support in the maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecommunication site infrastructures. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:

  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Read and understand a customer detail plan
  • Have a labor-intensive attitude
  • Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner
  • Adhere to all company and industry standards/regulations (OSHA, etc.)
  • Prepare drawings of field sketches using AutoCAD
  • Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial application
  • Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to fieldwork
  • Review peer work product
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

About You:

  • You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
  • 2 + years of general construction experience preferred; some cell tower industry experience highly preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
  • High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
  • Experience on AT&T or Verizon Wireless Networks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers and aerial platform equipment.
  • Ability to lead crews when foreman is gone DC/AC electrical skills.
  • Update equipment office records and installation specification to document accurate "as built"
  • Ability to work on ladders, demonstrated manual dexterity.
  • Must be adaptable to changing environments.
  • Must be able to pick up 50 lbs. and be capable of working up to 12 hours
  • Must be available to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively
  • Must be able to work out of market or away from home as work demands

Additional Details:

  • Compensation: You will be paid between $25-$27 based on experience.
  • Overtime pay:will be provided in accordance with California labor laws, at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for hours worked over 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a workweek.
  • Rest and Meal Breaks: You will be compensated for paid rest periods and granted unpaid meal breaks in accordance with California labor laws.
  • "At-will employment":Your employment with MasTec is “at-will,” meaning either you or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice.
  • Schedule: {Insert work schedule here including Full-time/Part-time details, as necessary}
