Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a Field Technician to support environmental sampling and testing across air, soil, and water. You will travel to client sites, collect and test samples, and ensure accurate documentation of results while supporting safety and field procedures.

The role offers regular M-F hours with potential overtime, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful environmental work and career growth within Pace. Excellent driving and field operation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or implied.
• Experience in related work preferred in environmental or lab settings.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting preferred.
• Ability to travel with some overnight stays.
• Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle with GPS/telematics tracking and safety cameras (no audio).

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process, and test environmental samples (air, soil, water, etc.).
• Perform field services using standard environmental practices.
• Transport and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results.
• Prepare vehicles and equipment for daily field operations.
• Maintain logs, forms, databases, and documentation accurately.
• Assist with research and recommendations to resolve issues.
• Support review and implementation of field/environmental programs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; elevate issues as needed.
• Promote Pace Analytical’s mission through professional interactions.
