Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking a Field Technician I in Williston, ND. This role conducts field and laboratory testing of soils and concrete to ensure QA/QC procedures and industry standards are met.

You will perform a variety of tests per ASTM, ACI standards, maintain safety, and support customers with accurate results. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-year vocational or college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soils, plastics concrete, and related materials.
• Conduct field density and Proctor density tests.
• Perform laboratory testing of bituminous materials.
• Observe excavations and correlate with soil boring logs.
• Coordinate with project manager and other staff to increase efficiency.
• Maintain safety and QA procedures in line with regulations.
