Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) in Minnesota is seeking a Field Technician I to conduct field and laboratory testing of soils and concrete, ensuring compliance with QA/QC procedures and standard industry methods. You will perform tests per ASTM, ACI, and ASIC standards, maintain safety, and travel regionally; a high school diploma is required, with a preference for two-year technical training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year vocational/college degree preferred.
• Ability to work in field and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soils, plastic concrete, bituminous, and masonry products.
• Report test results to project manager and client.
• Maintain safety and QA procedures in accordance with policies.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Travel regionally and occasionally out of town.
