The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of direct experience with CAT literature systems and be proficient in hydraulics, transmissions, or electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Three years direct work experience with CAT literature systems.
• Proficient in at least one mechanical system (hydraulics, transmissions, electrical).
• Ability to write repair activities on customer work orders.
• Must be able to lift up to 112 pounds and use mechanical hoists.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate mechanical repairs and assembly on construction equipment.
• Troubleshoot using diagnostic equipment and manuals.
• Use lift trucks, cranes, and other aids to move parts.
• Disassemble/reassemble parts; clean and test with tools and test equipment.
• Program equipment controllers as needed.
• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on engines, power train, hydraulics, and electrical components.
• Climb onto/under vehicles to access areas and complete repairs.
