Job summary

TransCore (TCI) in Bonifay, FL is seeking a Technician I to join our team. This role performs on-site or in-house servicing, repair, and installation of company products, including electrical, data, and fiber optic work to support field installations.

You will install equipment, test devices, complete reports, and respond to maintenance requests within established timeframes. A Class B CDL and basic technical knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS and TCP/IP concepts.
• CDL Class B required; ability to operate safely around traffic.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment such as cameras and cabinets.
• Install electrical conductors, data and fiber optics, pull boxes and foundations.
• Connect power to energize equipment and test device operation.
• Prepare reports and communicate shift-to-shift status.
• Respond to maintenance requests and alarms within timeframes.
• Diagnose and repair hardware/software/system issues.
• Driving is an essential function with valid license and clean record.
