Intertek Building & Construction in Westminster, Colorado is seeking a Field Technician I to join our engineering and construction testing team in the Greater Denver area. This role offers exposure to soil and concrete testing, site observations, and reporting data under supervision.

Ideal for an entry-level candidate or someone with some construction experience. The position requires a valid driver's license, ability to travel up to 25%, and lifting 30–50 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction materials testing or field testing.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds regularly; occasional >50 with assistance.
• Work outdoors in hot/cold weather and varying conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct soil, concrete tests and report results.
• Review drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Make detailed site observations and document data.
• Maintain detailed test records and data from tests.

Skills

Construction industry experience
