Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Master Meter Field Technician to support customers by maintaining and troubleshooting smart water meters and communication systems. The role includes on-site service, data reporting, and training for utility partners, with extensive regional travel across North and South Carolina.

Candidates should have an Associate degree or equivalent, plus relevant electronics or installation experience.

Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Installation, basic electronics, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• One-year technical customer service experience (preferred).
• Ability to install, repair, and maintain products and systems both internally and in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for AMR/AMI systems on-site.
• Oversee AMR/AMI equipment installations as needed.
• Diagnose issues with communication systems, electrical systems and software tools.
• Maintain documentation and reporting.
• Follow-up and communicate with timeliness and accuracy.
