Atlantic Pipe Services is hiring a Field Technician to support CCTV sewer inspections, cleaning, and trenchless pipeline rehabilitation projects. The role involves hands-on fieldwork, operating CCTV trucks and cleaning equipment, and reading utility maps and site plans.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving history, and are comfortable with variable hours (6:00 AM–5:00 PM) including nights/weekends. Physical work with equipment handling is required.

Position Overview

Atlantic Pipe Services (APS) is seeking a motivated and dependable Field Technician to support CCTV sewer inspections, sewer cleaning operations, and trenchless pipeline rehabilitation projects. This position works closely with operators and field crews to inspect, maintain, clean, and repair underground utility infrastructure. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, eager to learn, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

General Duties

• Assist crews with sewer inspection, cleaning, and rehabilitation projects.
• Support the operation of CCTV inspection trucks and sewer cleaning equipment.
• Read and interpret utility maps, site plans, and project specifications.
• Complete daily reports, equipment inspections, and other documentation using company-provided tablets.
• Perform equipment setup, maintenance, cleaning, and inventory checks.
• Assist with trenchless repair methods, including sectional liner installations and pipe repair activities.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and customers.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional condition.
• Support daily job planning and work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and cross-training opportunities.

Overall Position Responsibilities and Expectations:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Clean Driving History
• Pipeline/Manhole Rehabilitation experience preferred (not required).
• Able to work regular hours (6:00AM – 5:00 PM). Occasional night and weekend work. Out of town work may apply
• Handling of specialized and fragile equipment

THIS IS NOT A DRIVING ONLY POSITION

• All employees must undergo a pre-employment background check and substance screening process prior to being considered for employment
• Must be comfortable working outside year- round in all types of weather
• Exposure to varying levels of physical activities. Standing, crouching, walking, crawling. Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 pounds or more
• Friendly and professional attitude. Willing to listen and learn
• Data entry (Daily logs, tracking information from job sites, issues encountered, etc.)

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
