Job summary

Nelson Brothers Incorporated in Gillette, Wyoming is seeking a Full Time Day-shift Blaster Helper to support the blasting team. You will assist the blaster in charge with wiring of shot, prepare holes, and load trucks with product, contributing to safe and efficient blasting operations.

Responsibilities include operating blend trucks and Bobcat stemming holes, performing minor maintenance, checking trucks for needed maintenance, and ensuring safety of the crew while performing daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist blaster in charge with wiring of shot.
• Loads holes using blend truck and blend truck pumps and equipment.
• Checks trucks for any needed maintenance.
• Performs minor routine maintenance on truck and equipment.
• Loads trucks with product.
• Prepares holes to receive product.
• Operates Bobcat stemming holes .
• Performs all duties in a safe manner, being responsible for the safety of yourself and the employees around you.
• Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the Company.

Education
