Job summary

Pape’ Machinery is seeking a Rental Field Technician to service rental construction and forestry equipment, ensuring repairs are accurate and timely to maximize customer uptime.

You will handle in/out checks, fueling, cleaning, and safety compliance while traveling in a fully equipped service vehicle to support customers in the region. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to learn new equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of heavy equipment.
• Team-oriented personality with ability to work without direct supervision.
• Ability to complete a technical diagnostic and repair training program.
• Must pass background check for DBIDS eligibility.
• Must provide own tools.
• Type 4 driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair rental construction and forestry equipment to ensure uptime.
• Inspect in/out, fuel, and clean equipment; monitor yard safety.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform timely repairs.
