Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Field Technician for our Somerville, MA team. This role will perform hazardous waste handling, confined space entries, and on-site remediation tasks while following EPA, DOT and OSHA guidelines. No experience required; training is provided for the right candidate.

You will report to the Field Services Manager and contribute to safe, compliant field operations with a focus on customer service and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Interest in hazardous waste field preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Consent to background checks, pre-employment physical and drug screen (THC included).
• Safety sensitive position with potential 60 lb lifting requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform confined space entries, soil remediation, chemical decontamination, tank cleaning and closure, sample collection and related services.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and apply daily work practices.
• Understand DOT, EPA & OSHA regulations and TEI safety practices.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste pickups with strong customer service.
• Wear respirator for 4–6 hours daily and maintain PPE.
