Responsibilities

Communications Install Solutions Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our growing team in Alpharetta, GA! This is a hands‑on role perfect for someone who thrives in the field, loves solving technical challenges, and takes pride in delivering top‑quality installations and service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of communications systems and equipment
• Conduct site surveys and assess technical requirements prior to installation
• Run and terminate cabling including low-voltage, coaxial, and structured wiring
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely project completion
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and service reports
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards on every job site

Requirements:

• 1 year + Prior experience in field technician, low-voltage, or communications installation roles preferred
• Working knowledge of structured cabling, A/V, or telecommunications systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced field environment
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and various weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-facing demeanor
• GoogleSuite and Xcel proficiency a plus
• OSHA 10 certification a plus
