Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to perform the buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop installations from the network hub to customers’ residences. This role requires overnight travel and operates in a safety‑sensitive environment.

You will work on the buried drop team, using your technical skills and customer focus to connect networks, interpret drawings, and complete daily paperwork while promoting Kinetic products and services.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel overnight, including out of state.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Safety‑sensitive position requiring adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cable from the network hub to the customer’s residence.
• Interpret work drawings and complete required paperwork.
• Sell and promote Kinetic products and services.
• Train new employees on daily tasks.
• Operate hand‑held computer for tasks and data retrieval.
• Perform locoates on underground facilities when applicable.
