Job summary

County Waste Service is seeking a Field Tech to support site operations with hybrid work between equipment operation, maintenance oversight, and service quality checks. You will transport materials, perform inspections, and engage with customers and vendors to ensure project success.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 1+ year on-site industrial experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required and clean driving record.
• At least 1 year working on a job site in an industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine inspections and minor maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing conditions.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Effective verbal and written communication with customers, vendors, and team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain field equipment and vehicles to ensure safe, compliant performance.
• Load/unload materials and equipment using proper rigging and securing techniques.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance logs; identify issues and coordinate repairs.
• Deliver service quality checks at job sites to meet project, safety, and customer standards.
• Address customer inquiries and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Support safety culture and participate in safety meetings and audits.
