Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Field Service Technician I in the United States to perform clean-up and preparation for transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste at customer sites. Responsibilities include loading/unloading tanks, inspecting equipment, and completing confined space tasks in a safety-conscious setting.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to travel 10-25% of the time, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements, and all local, state and federal laws.
• Handling, packaging and transportation of both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.
• Removes materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools for industrial and environmental cleanup.
• Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
• Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools hand tools and/or other tools as needed.
• Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
• Acts as a professional representative of Reworld while acting in an autonomous manner at a customer site.
• Complies with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training provided by Reworld.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
