Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Field Technician in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to perform field testing and observations within our Construction Materials Testing team. The role involves handling soil and concrete testing, reviewing drawings with site teams, and documenting results under procedures.

The position requires 1+ years in construction, physical stamina, outdoor work readiness, and a valid driver’s license. Intertek offers strong benefits and opportunities for growth in the A/E/C industry.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in construction industry.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, hearing, and to discriminate sound.
• Ability to kneel and squat occasionally and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including heat and cold.
• Ability to climb occasionally and work at various heights.
• Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete or other) and report data.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Perform tasks to observe site activities and interpret results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
