Job summary

Intertek is seeking an Entry Level Field Technician I to join our Ripon, WI team. You will operate testing equipment and perform site assessments under supervision, contributing to construction materials testing and geotechnical tasks in the A/E/C industry.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required and reliable driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally more with assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and stand/walk for long periods.
• Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete or other) and report data.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and diagrams to support field observations.
• Make detailed site observations and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain thorough documentation and data from test results.
