Field Technician - Construction Materials Testing (Shreveport, Louisiana)

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is actively seeking a Field CMT Technician to join our Professional Services Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) team in Shreveport, Louisiana.

What You’ll Do

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (e.g., soil, concrete) and provide assessment of data through reporting
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams to guide work
• Use specific methods to make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results
• Communicate effectively with clients and project teams

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Two or more years of construction materials testing experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record
• REAL ID driver’s license or state ID
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I Certification
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound
• Ability to kneel, squat, and walk/stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures
• Ability to climb occasionally and work at various heights
• Ability to work overnight hours and off‑shift; must be willing to work overtime as needed

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Additional ACI certifications or other industry‑related certifications
