Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking entry‑level Field Technicians to perform on‑site concrete sampling and testing, including slump, air, temperature, and cylinder sets. You will verify soil compaction with a nuclear density gauge and document results the same day.

We provide training and sponsor certifications, with travel to various sites as needed. Pay ranges from $18 to $28 per hour, with overtime when schedules demand it.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and coachable.
• We sponsor ACI Field Grade I, nuclear gauge safety, and NICET Levels I/II.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31; run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations; maintain gauge standardization and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
