Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample concrete, perform slump, air, and temperature tests, verify soil compaction, and document results the same day. Entry-level applicants are welcome as we train and sponsor certifications.

Responsibilities include testing per ASTM standards, maintaining equipment, and reporting results to superintendents on-site. This outdoor, physical role offers training and advancement along the field-to-lab track.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varied sites and weather.
• Reliable, detail-first, coachable.
• ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certification a plus (sponsored).

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per standard specs.
• Run field density and moisture tests as required.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
